How do you become an ACNV member?
ACNV offers two types of membership, so that everyone can choose the option that suits them best. Discover the details below.
ACNV has two membership levels:

Facilitator Member
Supporting Member
Right for you if:
- you want to be part of the ACNV community in order to keep living NVC and applying it in your everyday life;
- you adhere to the principles and values of the philosophy of Nonviolent Communication and want to support our work;
- you are interested in understanding how an organisation based on the principles of NVC and Sociocracy works;
- you want to connect with other people who intend to put NVC into practice in their lives;
- you want access to experienced certified trainers and quality NVC events.
What you get / benefits:
- access to a WhatsApp group dedicated to ACNV members, to connect with other NVC enthusiasts;
- a monthly newsletter with upcoming events and examples of how you can integrate NVC into your life and your everyday relationships;
- an invitation to attend the ACNV General Assembly once a year;
- discounts on the Association's events, such as the online Festival we organise every February.
What you need to do:
- pay the annual membership fee of 120 RON;
- take part in the ACNV General Assembly every April, either in person or through a delegate chosen from among the organisation's members.
Facilitator Member
Right for you if:
- You are a trainer certified by the Center for Nonviolent Communication.
- You are a registered certification candidate with the Center for Nonviolent Communication.
- You facilitate workshops/events based on Nonviolent Communication and have a recommendation from a certified trainer or a certification candidate to become a member.
- You are looking to connect with other Nonviolent Communication facilitators in order to inspire, collaborate with and support one another.
- You have both the desire and the capacity to contribute to the purpose of the ACNV community.
- You wish, as far as possible, to take part in regional/national meetings organised by ACNV.
What you get / benefits:
- Access to a WhatsApp group dedicated to NVC facilitators, so that we create a community of professionals who support and inspire one another.
- An invitation to attend the ACNV General Assembly once a year.
- Discounts on events organised by the Association.
- The opportunity to promote your courses and workshops on the ACNV website and on the organisation's Facebook page
- Access to monthly meetings (for learning, connection and networking) where we share good practices in NVC facilitation and explore together different aspects of this philosophy of life.
What you need to do:
- Payment of the annual membership fee. Depending on your financial situation, you can choose between the following three levels: 180 RON, 250 RON, 300 RON.
- Taking part in the ACNV General Assembly every April, either in person or through a delegate you choose from among the organisation's members.

- It helps us cover accounting costs, website maintenance, bank fees and much more.

If you would like to join but the membership fee is difficult for you, we invite you to contact us. The ACNV Board of Directors is open to dialogue, and together we will explore ways to support you.
How do you apply?
- If you would like to become an ACNV member, please fill in the ACNV application form.
- Applications are reviewed by the ACNV Board of Directors every two weeks, but if we haven't replied in good time, you can contact us at contact@cnvromania.ro
- As soon as your application has been reviewed, we will contact you to let you know the next step.
