Luiza Ștefan

Luiza Ștefan discovered Nonviolent Communication in 2008, when she was a school counsellor and attended an introductory programme offered by Monica Reu for the first time. Since then, her main interest has been facilitating communication between children, between parents and children, and between teachers and children, using the model offered by Marshall Rosenberg.

Over time, she has kept this deep interest in Nonviolent Communication and had the opportunity to collaborate with ACNV in the 2019 and 2020 Erasmus projects, through which she helped spread this way of seeing human needs.

Between 2022 and 2025 she ran the “NVC Evenings” project and NVC practice groups at the Encounter Centre, dedicated to psychoeducation and group work.

She is currently a psychotherapist trained in person-centred psychotherapy, and in her work she combines the humanistic values of this approach with the vision of Nonviolent Communication, which she has deepened over time.
