Nadia Comănici

Nadia lives in Brașov and discovered Nonviolent Communication in 2023, after some intense challenges in her relationships with her partner and her mother. 

She realised that although she knew the theory and seemed calm and patient, in difficult moments she would lash out at her loved ones and found it hard to listen and express herself with empathy. She enrolled in a compassion course and discovered the missing piece of the puzzle in her life.

Coming from a family of maths teachers, Nadia has a gift for explaining complex things in simple, easy-to-understand words. Since 2015, as an accredited trainer, she has been running technical and non-technical courses with passion and love. 

Between 2020 and 2023 she became certified in NLP (IANLP Master Practitioner, Coach and Trainer), exploring in parallel her passion for the human mind and soul.

Her personal transformations through NVC inspired her to give up technical courses and dedicate her experience and energy to spreading empathy. 

Known as the “Giraffe Language Teacher”, Nadia combines gentleness with structure and play in the hands-on workshops, courses and camps she runs.

She created her own personal feelings wheel to name her feelings and needs, which she uses at her events. 

She organises recurring courses, camps for adults and families (in collaboration with Anca Sin), and team-building events for companies that care about people, and she is working on a board game that makes translating from “Jackal” into “Giraffe” fun and educational. 

She also lovingly supports other NVC facilitators on their journey to gaining the confidence they need to share with the world what already exists within them.
