ABOUT Robyn Marie Bors Veraart
Robyn lives in rural Transylvania, where she combines Nonviolent Communication with community life, sustainable agriculture and reconnecting with nature. Together with her partner, Lars, she co-founded Provision Transylvania, a project that creates learning and living contexts that support the health of people and the planet.
She facilitates NVC sessions with individuals and groups, online and in person, integrating themes such as healing the past, the needs of the present and building a more resilient future. Robyn is also vice-president of ACNV and collaborates with local organisations that support access to land, agroecology, biodiversity and more inclusive forms of community.
In her work, she brings together NVC, music, empathy, local traditions, Warm Data and care for the more-than-human world, with the wish to connect people, cultures and movements in ways that enrich life.
„My purpose is to share NVC with people around the world in order to heal the traumas we carry, so that we can orient ourselves towards and nourish our larger collective purpose of creating Earth Democracy. I sense that when we are stuck in the habits and frequencies of the trauma field, we tend towards patterns of reaction that alienate life and are harmful to ourselves, to others and to the natural world we live in. At the same time, these energies and reactions help the forces of oppression we all live under become stronger. I work to find ways to orient myself and others towards life, towards medicines, food and words that enrich life, and towards practices that lead us away from the grip of oppressive systems – even our own! ”

PROJECTS CREATED BY ROBYN
A centre for living and learning
Provision is a space where learning comes to life. Lessons don't remain just theory, but are lived day by day — in the house, in the garden, in the orchard, in the fields or in the mountains. Here, learning happens through courses and workshops as well as through work, play, observation and a direct relationship with nature. Provision hosts events, courses and workshops dedicated to regenerative living, nonviolence and reconnecting with the land.
Regenerative living
Regenerative living goes beyond sustainability. It means creating conditions in which life can thrive — in our relationship with the land, with people and with the community. At Provision, regenerative practices are integrated into the way food is grown, spaces are built, and people communicate, learn and live together.
Nonviolence
Nonviolence means reducing harm as much as possible and supporting life, health and beauty as much as possible. At Provision, nonviolence is lived concretely: in the way people speak to one another, in consumer choices, in the relationship with animals, with the land, with neighbours and with the more-than-human world. Nonviolent Communication is one of the central practices of this process, supporting connection, empathic care and the building of life-enriching systems.
Provision Farm
Provision Farm is a small, regenerative, agroecological family farm in the village of Alunișu, Transylvania. Much of the food eaten at Provision is grown locally, by hand and with the help of animals, without chemicals or artificial fertilisers. The farm includes dairy goats, horses, chickens, ducks, orchards, vegetable gardens and staple crops such as potatoes, onions, carrots and grains — all on less than two hectares of land.
